About Us
Yagai Academy is a premier boarding institution located opposite the College of Nursing and Midwifery in Jalingo, Taraba State. Founded by Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danladi on the belief that perseverance is truly the key to success, we provide world-class education from Nursery through Secondary school in a safe, nurturing, and disciplined environment. The Yagai Academy vision realized in 2009, which opened its doors to pupils on 7th September, 2009, with an initial enrolment of thirty (30) pupils in its Nursery and Primary sections has since grown into the thriving institution that it is today.
Yagai Academy is beautifully situated at the foot of Yorro Mountain, whose presence naturally moderates the local weather. The campus is further enhanced by ornamental trees, flowers, and date palms planted throughout the premises, creating an environment that is cool, fres, serene, and aesthetically pleasing. Fully fenced all round, our school offers a safe and conducive atmosphere for learning, where students can focus, grow, and thrive.

Admissions
We welcome applications from pupils and students of all backgrounds. Our admissions process is straightforward and merit-based.

Birth certificate, last school result/report card, passport photographs, and parent/guardian ID.
Candidates write a brief entrance assessment in English and Mathematics relevant to their level.
Successful candidates receive an admission letter and pay the required fees to confirm their place.
New students attend a two-day orientation programme before the start of term.
